Kareem Yusuf, Ph.D.

As Senior Vice President, Ecosystem, Strategic Partners & Initiatives for IBM Software, Kareem leads IBM’s mission to expand its global ecosystem, elevate its partnerships, and develop and scale new business opportunities and strategic alliances for the company. At Resideo, he chairs the Innovation and Technology Committee and is a member of the Compensation and Human Capital Management Committee.

Kareem has been with IBM for over 25 years and has held senior leadership positions in a variety of disciplines across the company, including offering management, software development, SaaS operations, mergers & acquisitions, and field technical sales.

He has a Ph.D. from the University of Leeds, focused on Decision Support Systems for Civil Engineering construction. He maintains an active interest in all things technical, with a particular interest in digital media and programming languages. He is a TED Speaker and the author of “Enterprise Messaging Using JMS and IBM WebSphere.”
