Scott Harkins

As Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Scott Harkins leads the global sales and marketing organization for Resideo. He brings more than three decades of experience in residential and commercial technology markets to the role.

Harkins has built his career at the intersection of sales leadership, connected technology, and product innovation. Harkins joined Ademco in 1995, later acquired by Honeywell, and then its spin-off in 2018. He has served in several senior leadership roles, including Vice President and General Manager of Connected Home, where he developed vision and strategy for smart home services targeting security companies, HVAC contractors, and plumbers, and built Software-as-a-Service revenue streams by leveraging connected devices, data, artificial intelligence, and machine learning.

Prior to Resideo, he spent more than 16 years at Honeywell, where he held senior leadership roles across security and connected home businesses, leading growth, product strategy, sales, and strategic partnerships throughout the Americas.

With an extensive background, Harkins is one of the most connected and experienced professionals in IoT and understands what consumers want from the constantly changing home technology market. He was recognized as one of Parks Associates’ 40 Leaders in Connected Living in 2026. And in 2017, Inc. Magazine ranked him as one of the most influential leaders in the IoT space. Forbes.com has ranked him the 12th most influential person in the IoT market.
