Scott Ziffra
Senior Vice President of Engineering
As Senior Vice President of Engineering at Resideo, Scott Ziffra leads the company's global engineering function, overseeing the development of technology-driven products and solutions for residential and commercial end-markets worldwide.
Ziffra is a seasoned executive with more than 25 years of experience in general management, strategic planning, and new product and services development, with a track record of building high-performing teams and driving revenue and profit growth. At Resideo, he has helped shape the company's product development strategy while driving faster, more disciplined engineering execution.
Prior to Resideo, Ziffra served as Vice President of Engineering and Marketing at Advanced Energy, helping lead the $700 million Embedded Power business following its acquisition of Artesyn Embedded Power, where he held the same role. Before that, he spent more than 14 years at Emerson Network Power in a series of leadership roles of increasing responsibility, including Vice President and General Manager of Services, Vice President of Marketing, and Senior Director of Strategic Planning and Business Development, where he completed two acquisitions each valued at more than $300 million. He began his career as a Design Engineer and Engineering Group Manager at National Instruments.
Ziffra holds dual degrees from Northwestern University, earning a Master of Business Administration with Distinction from the Kellogg School of Management and a Master of Engineering through the Manufacturing Management program. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
