Automatic Burner Shutoff

The High Limit Aquastat Controller from Resideo is ideal for hydronic heating systems turning off the burner whenever the boiler water temperature rises to the adjustable set point—to optimize safety.

This controller is 1 in. x 1 in. x 1 in. and is rated at 100-200 degrees F with an 8 degree F fixed differential.

Features include:

  • Immersion type controller
  • Adjustable set point
  • Models available for immersion wells or direct immersion
  • Insertion depth is 1 1/2 to 3 in
  • Models available with second limit switch to shut off all gas to the burner
  • Liquid fill in sensing element expands as the boiler temperature rises
  • At the set point temperature, a diaphragm-actuated snap switch breaks the power supply to the burner primary control
  • Includes a siphon loop
